Mid-Columbia Economic Development District (MCEDD) is updating Wasco County’s Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan, which is focused on the transportation needs of seniors, low income individuals, individuals with disabilities and Limited English Proficiency individuals. Your responses will help us learn what is important to you in meeting these transportation needs so we may spend our limited resources wisely.

The Link Public Transit in Wasco County just launched a South County shuttle that will run every Tuesday to pick up South County residents for shopping and appointment stops in The Dalles. Pick ups are in Maupin (8:30 am), Tygh Valley (9:00 am), and Dufur (9:45 am), with the bus arriving in The Dalles at about 10:30 am. Call the Link for more information: 541-296-7595.

Join the Gorge TransLink Alliance for an informational evening Thursday, August 29 from 5-6:30 pm at the Columbia Gorge Community College campus in The Dalles, Bldg. 2, Lecture Hall. Bring your questions about how to get around The Dalles by bus. See you there!
Gorge Translink has launched a new website to feature our alliance of rural providers offering public transportation services throughout the Mid Columbia River Gorge area and to more distant destinations, such as the metropolitan cities of Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. The Gorge TransLink alliance members are committed to providing efficient, reliable and accessible transportation services to the residents of the five county region.

The Link will launch a regular city bus service route for The Dalles on April 29, 2019! See the Link Schedule and more information. The bus deviates, which means that if you can’t get to the bus stop, the bus can deviate off the route to pick you up. Call for more info! 541-296-7595.
