MATS Service Suspension

Effective Monday, 3/23/20 Klickitat County Senior Services/Mt. Adams Transportation Service is suspending their fixed route transit shuttles between Goldendale/The Dalles and White Salmon/Bingen/Hood River through April 24th.

The dial-a-ride services will continue as able for essential medical trips such as dialysis.

MATS is following state and federal guidelines in order to assist in slowing the transmission of COVID-19 in our communities.

MATS will continue to be able to provide assistance through the agency phone lines for connecting people to services and supports. Additionally they will continue to provide home delivered meals to seniors in Klickitat County as able with current staff and volunteers.

Mid-Columbia Economic Development District (MCEDD) is updating Wasco County’s Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan, which is focused on the transportation needs of seniors, low income individuals, individuals with disabilities and Limited English Proficiency individuals. Your responses will help us learn what is important to you in meeting these transportation needs so we may spend our limited resources wisely.

Portland Service Expands!

The Link’s South County Shuttle

The Link Public Transit in Wasco County just launched a South County shuttle that will run every Tuesday to pick up South County residents for shopping and appointment stops in The Dalles. Pick ups are in Maupin (8:30 am), Tygh Valley (9:00 am), and Dufur (9:45 am), with the bus arriving in The Dalles at about 10:30 am. Call the Link for more information: 541-296-7595.
